M1890 INTRENCHING KNIFE – U.S. Military issue, serial number 4504 with scabbard. Blade is marked/manufactured by Springfield Armory and scabbard is marked Rock Island Armory. Manufactured from 1881 until 1894 and used primarily during the Indian Wars. Comes with a hard bound copy of “LIGHT BUT EFFICIENT” by Albert N. Hardin and Robert W. Hedden(now out of print), chronicling the history of the M1880 and M1890 intrenching knives. Knive, scabbard and book are all in very good condition. $599.00 WITH FREE SHIPPING.
